I loved this 6th book in the Vanderbeekers series and I just have to say "I want more" so I can continue to love/follow this family and their friends, relatives and PETS! The cross country trip was fun, hysterical, madcap and of course not without all kinds of drama! A MUST READ by ALL! Highly recommended!

This final book in the Rainbow High series has Kyle, Jason and Nelson taking a road trip to California where Jason has been asked to speak to and LBGT high school. All the main characters are put to the test with the tight quarters, poor decisions, and unreal expectations. I so loved this series and I will be sorely missing Jason, Nelson and Kyle. I especially liked Nelson in this 3rd book; he finally gets it, yes he is still spur of the moment with bad results but he grows and becomes friendlier with Jason, while realistic Kyle keeps tabs on Nelson and Jason. Such an awesome series, a must read!

Raina has always wanted a sister, until she got one. Amira is not easy to get along with and a road trip with Mom and baby brother Will during the summer really stretches the familial bonds. I laughed out loud with the authentic family scenes of fighting, arguing, one-upping, and drama all around. Raina's childhood rings true with her bright illustrations; this is a cross over book as well since Raina is entering high school. A book one and all will enjoy.
