Night After Night by Lauren Blakely
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Julia is a no nonsense bartender and 1/2 owner who has problems that she keeps all to herself in San Francisco. She is working off a debt to a smarmy loan shark and she refuses to tell her sister, friends or anyone else she gets close to. Enter Clay, an entertainment lawyer, who stops in at Julia's bar because her sister's fiancee recommended the bar and Julia. Sparks fly and continue to fly through this slim but chemistry driven romance. I can't wait to read the second book in this delicious romance!
