Forbidden City (City Spies, #3) by James Ponti

Forbidden City (City Spies, #3)Forbidden City by James Ponti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this 3rd book in the City Spies series by James Ponti! Once again, I totally enjoyed the daring do of the city spies and Mother and Monty as they race to stop Umbra from taking a father/son team from North Korea. There was adventure, mystery, friendship and more in this thriller that shows the team how to succeed as they each take their mission to fruition to fight evil. Highly recommended! I really hope there is another book in this series!

Golden Gate (City Spies, #2) by James Ponti

Golden Gate (City Spies, #2)Golden Gate by James Ponti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This 2nd book in the City Spies series is a page turner as Brooklyn and Sydney save the day when their latest assignment involves the hijack of their boat and expands as they search for a mole, Mother's children and all sorts of mayhem! I can't wait for the 3rd book, the junior spy team and their individual fortes are beyond exciting!!! Highly recommended!

City Spies (City Spies, #1) by James Ponti

City Spies (City Spies, #1)City Spies by James Ponti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Many thanks to Laurie Hnatiuk @lhnatiuk for recommending James Ponti as a must read author, I have read his first book in the Framed series and gave the book to my granddaughter. I have both of the follow up books next to my bed. City Spies was exciting, riveting, and Ponti's writing was compelling but light with the characters, awesome locations, and just great spy drama with Brooklyn (Sara) and her crew led by Mother (a British spy who knows a lot), Monty and Reggie as they try to foil the Purple Thumb attacks/murders. With fun names, writing, and top notch kids who can hack, code break, evaluate equations, etc. this series is another that I am very excited to read! the villains are diabolical but these kids use their wits against them!!!
