Oh did I love Mighty Jack a graphic novel with a swashbuckling take on a classic fairy tale- I read this as part of the 2017 HUB Reading Challenge. I loved Ben Hatke's vibrant illustrations, 3 main characters - Jack, Maddie & Lilly. I loved Jack's & Lilly's fearlessness even when they are afraid- loved the sword fights & Maddie's belief in the garden. Lots of fun, I already have #2 on my TBR shelf!!!
