In this 3rd & final graphic novel; Zita and her beloved mouse are on trial for all sorts of bogus charges and worse yet- the evil one in charge is aiming at taking over Earth and ruining it!!! With many friends and supporters, Zita will prove she is a heroine through and through who cares about her space friends and those on Earth!

Runaways, Vol. 4: But You Can't Hide by Rainbow Rowell

Runaways, Vol. 4: But You Can't HideRunaways, Vol. 4: But You Can't Hide by Rainbow Rowell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The runaways are having some identity problems due to the stress they have been dealing with. Also the subplot with the Giborrem continues and Victor and Chase try to revive the Doombot. A great series, a new illustrator, and a great plot!

Runaways, Vol. 2: Best Friends Forever by Rainbow Rowell

Runaways, Vol. 2: Best Friends ForeverRunaways, Vol. 2: Best Friends Forever by Rainbow Rowell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am really enjoying this series! I love learning more about their back story, about their pasts, and now their present. Vol 2 has the same gang of Nico, Karolina, Gertrude, Chase, Molly and Victor. As usual there is lots of drama, should Victor get a body to attach to his head, and will Julie Powers become one of the gang? Can we trust Molly's best friend, Abigail and what happens when Gert and Victor time travel? Jumping right into Vol. 3 & 4, great reads!!!

Runaways, Vol. 1: Find Your Way Home by Rainbow Rowell

Runaways, Vol. 1: Find Your Way HomeRunaways, Vol. 1: Find Your Way Home by Rainbow Rowell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I got hooked on the 5th Runaways graphic novel so I am going back to the 1st and reading all 4! I know there are others too so I will be signing up to read them, I love Rainbow Rowell and the 1st graphic novel I read, Pumpkinheads, made it easy to make it my reading mission to read any and all of her graphic novels. The characters are many and varied and I like their chemistry and angst as they try to make their way in the world because their past is just too awful.

Mighty Jack and the Goblin King (Mighty Jack #2) by Ben Hatke

Mighty Jack and the Goblin King (Mighty Jack, #2)Mighty Jack and the Goblin King by Ben Hatke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thank you to NetGalley and First Second Books for the ARC, Mighty Jack and the Goblin King by Ben Hatke. What a spellbinding read! Ben Hatke has done it again with a super charged graphic novel middle school and teen readers will totally enjoy. Mighty Jack and the Goblin King continues expanding the fairy tale begun in the first comic, Mighty Jack, with bright, electric illustrations crafting an action filled horror adventure story with Jack and Lilly with their swords and daring racing to save Maddy, with help from Phelix and goblins. Highly recommended for those who love fantasy, building tension, thrilling plot twists and fierce characters.
